Privacy Statement

Last updated: June 2026

This Privacy Statement explains what we do with the personal data we obtain about you when you visit our website or place an order. It applies to citizens and legal permanent residents of the European Economic Area and Switzerland, and reflects the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We recommend you read it carefully.

Who we are

KannPrint ("we", "us", "our") operates this website. Our registered address is Bevrijdingsstraat 68, 2960 Sint-Lenaarts, Belgium. For any privacy question you can reach us at info@kannprint.com or +32 497 22 02 21.

In our processing we clearly state our purposes, limit collection to what is required, request your consent where the law requires it, apply appropriate security measures, and respect your right to access, correct or delete your data.

Purposes, data and retention

Contact — when you contact us by phone, mail, email or web form we may process your name, email address, telephone number and the content of your message.

Orders & payments — to process and deliver a purchase we process your name, billing and shipping address, email address and telephone number. Card details are handled directly by our payment processor (Stripe) and are never stored on our servers.

Account — if you register, we process your name, address, email address and order history to manage your account and wishlist.

Google Sign-In — if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from your Google account through Google OAuth. We use this Google user data only to create and secure your KANN account and to send order-related communication. We never receive your Google password, we do not sell or share this data, and we do not use it for advertising. You may also register with an email and password instead. Google's own handling of your data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Support & delivery — we use your contact and address details to fulfil, ship and support your order.

Statistics — with your consent we process usage data (including a truncated IP address) to measure and improve the website.

Legal obligations — we process the data required to meet our accounting and legal duties (for example, invoices).

Retention — we keep personal data only as long as necessary for these purposes. Order and invoice records are retained for the statutory accounting period; other account and contact data is kept for up to 48 months after the service ends, unless the law requires otherwise.

Legal basis

We process your data on one or more of the following bases: performance of a contract (your orders and account), your consent (non-essential cookies, statistics and any marketing), our legitimate interests (securing and improving our services), and compliance with legal obligations. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

Sharing your data

We share data only with the service providers who help us operate, and only to the extent necessary: Stripe (payment processing), our shipping carriers (delivery), Resend (transactional email such as order and password emails) and our hosting provider. These parties act as processors under an agreement with us.

We never sell your personal data. We may disclose data if required by law, a court order or a law-enforcement request. If our business is sold, merged or acquired, your data may be transferred to the new owner.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss and unlawful access. Access is limited to the people who need it, connections are encrypted, and our measures are reviewed regularly. We cannot, however, guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

Third-party websites

This Privacy Statement does not apply to third-party websites linked from ours. We cannot guarantee that these third parties handle your data reliably or securely; please read their privacy statements before using them.

Your rights

You have the right to be informed about why and how your data is used and how long it is kept; the right of access; the right to rectification; the right to erasure; the right to restrict or object to processing; and the right to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

To exercise these rights, contact us at info@kannprint.com. Please clearly identify yourself so we do not modify or delete the wrong person's data.

Amendments

We may amend this Privacy Statement. We recommend you review it regularly, and we will inform you of material changes where possible.

Complaints & contact

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, we would like to hear from you at info@kannprint.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit).
